The “sweater” for any weather

In August if you are anything like me then you start to dream of fall.  All the nice cozy things warm cider, camp fires, Halloween, and SWEATERS!  Give me alllll the sweaters! But here in Cincinnati it is still in the 90’s and that normally means no sweaters…

But not this August!

This august I’ve had the opportunity to team up with PinkBush  and had the chance to review one of their items. I always knew PinkBlush for their maternity clothing so imagine my surprise to find they have pages and pages of stylish styles for women who are not pregnant!!

So, with the itch of fall so near I had to select a sweater (or at least something that could pass for a sweater from afar) from the women’s clothing portion of their site, which was gifted to me in return for my honest opinion (if you would like more about that please feel free to hop on over to my disclosure page). Although, this is not a sweater in the traditional sense of thick material it is a long sleeve piece that  looks like a sweater and feels like a normal light weight top.

Here are all the pros and cons of this Charcoal long sleeve ribbed top:

                  • it’s super comfy!
                  • very flattering
                  • there was room for the “ladies” even as a breastfeeding mama
                  • flow-y but flattering
                  • comes in a color for everyone
                  • light weight

and my favorite part!

                  • Because it is so light weight I can wear this sweater in the summer with shorts or in the winter/fall! that’s a win win for sweater lovers everywhere!

oh yeah… the cons... hmm honestly and I do mean HONESTLY I love everything about this top!

I was gifted this sweater but I think I need it another color.. you can never have too many sweaters right???

It made for the perfect on the go look that was so easy to throw together.  I paired this top with a pair of black denim shorts, some slip on tennis shoes and looked super stylish despite the bags under my eyes from lack of sleep (thanks to a certain boobie monster pictured above). I tucked it in for a more fitted look but I can’t wait to pair it with a pair of skinny jeans and let it flow a little more.

About this fit:

I am 5′ 9″ size 12 jeans and I am wearing a a size MEDIUM.  It fits a little big so if you like yours to be more form fitting you may want to size down.

If you are a mom on the go this is the perfect item for your closet to grab and go!

Always check back for more styles from me, an average mom, with an average closet.
